Your first session

What to expect

New to us? Here's exactly how it works, for group classes and for one-to-one training.

1 Your first group class

Before you even enter the class environment, you'll be sent an email containing joining instructions on what to bring. When you arrive you'll be greeted by one of our friendly team who will introduce themselves, get you booked in and explain what you can expect.

One of our team will stay alongside you in class to make you feel more comfortable.

Don't be nervous, we're here to help.

2 Starting 1:1 training

Before we book you in for one-to-one training we like to get a full picture about your dog's history. Remember, once we understand the full picture, we will advise you.

We pride ourselves on our honest, no-nonsense approach and we are always at hand to give honest advice.

Group classes

Weekly 45-minute sessions, puppy through to advanced.

£40 on your first day covers your first 4 sessions, non-refundable
£10 / 45-min session

£10 per class after your first 4 sessions

Single 1:1 session

£100

One focused one-to-one session. Price may vary by distance outside Sunderland.

3-day 1:1 course

£150

One hour a day with a trainer and your dog, daily progress videos and a final-day recap.

5-day 1:1 course

£250

As the 3-day course, over five days, one hour a day, daily progress videos and a final-day recap.

All sessions subject to availability, we're always happy to discuss what's right for you and your dog.

FAQs

Common questions

How much are group classes?
Group classes are £10 per 45-minute session. On your first day it's £40, which covers your first 4 sessions (non-refundable), then £10 per class after that.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?
We ask you to get in touch and book in first. Before your first class we'll email you joining instructions on what to bring, and a member of our friendly team will get you settled in on the day.
How old does my dog need to be for classes?
Our Puppy class is for puppies 6 months and under. We also have Intermediate and Advanced classes, plus 1:1 training, for dogs of all ages.
How far do you travel for 1:1 training?
Our group classes are based in Fulwell, Sunderland, but we offer 1:1 training at any location. The price may vary for locations outside Sunderland.
What breeds do you work with?
All breeds. We have a vast amount of knowledge and experience with all breeds of dogs, especially across the North East.
Do you work with blind, deaf or disabled dogs?
Yes. We cater for dogs with both physical and sensory limitations, focusing on adaptability and building confidence.
Do you work with aggressive dogs?
Yes. Managing aggression is one of our training disciplines, alongside building confidence for fearful dogs and obedience work.
